Dénia sits at the northern hinge of the Costa Blanca, the Montgó massif behind it and a ferry to Ibiza and Mallorca from its own port. Las Rotas is the quieter, rockier coast south of town; the beaches north of the port are the flatter, sandier stretch most buyers picture.
A working ferry port to the Balearics beneath the Montgó, with Las Rotas' rocky coves on one side of town and sandy beaches on the other.
